Cliff has experience ranging from 3 years in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division at the end of the Vietnam War Era to owning a successful software consulting practice, along with everything and anything you could imagine in between.

Expelled from high school with a 10th grade education, he spent several years in and out of trouble.

In 2007 Cliff started A Cord of Hope and subsequently “From Gangs to Jobs” alongside his good friend and brother in Christ, Natividad Mendoza.

Cliff’s history covers a wide spectrum and is an integral reason for his belief in and commitment to “From Gangs to Jobs”.

What drives Cliff is God’s command for believers to reach out to the poor, the oppressed, the widows and orphans, the sick, the hungry and the imprisoned, which he believes is the very essence of what it means to follow Christ.

Cliff has been married to his wife Elena for 31 years.

He is the father of 7 children and grandfather of 11.
